After going through this course, learners can learn about trauma and orthopedic emergencies.
These emergencies includes all kinds of injuries affecting the bones, joints, muscles, tendons,
and ligaments in any part of the body. It is wide-ranging and may refer to minor fractures or
severely broken bones with a direct threat to the patient’s life. The health care professionals can
also know that the trauma is the leading cause for long term morbidity and mortality.
