  • Instruction: Discussion on composition basics, including the rule of thirds, focal points, and techniques for guiding the viewer’s eye.

  • Step-by-Step Guidance: Students paint a final piece, with instructions on sketching, laying down washes, building layers, and adding details.
  • Emphasis on Patience and Layers: Highlighting the importance of patience in watercolor painting for achieving depth through layered washes.
